How to Add Captions to Facebook Videos
Just like YouTube, Facebook too allows you to generate captions and foreign subtitles automatically. You need to know that the captions are generated for a video to be published on the business page, not a personal profile. If you want to use this feature, you need to go to your Facebook page, and there click the Create Studio section on the top panel. Once you’ve landed on the new page, click on the Upload video. After the video’s uploading is complete, you need to go to the Publishing Options and save the video as a draft by clicking the Save by Draft option. Once you’ve uploaded the video, next, you are required to go to the Content Library, from the left-hand panel, and then to the Drafts page. Click on the three dots menu, and choose Edit Post. After this a Pop-Up window will appear, pull down the screen in the right-hand side, till you come across the “Subtitles & Captions (CC)” section, click on it to see three options, one is to automatically generate the closed captions, upload the .srt file, or write the subtitles. If you have created the subtitles, you can upload the .srt file, or you can generate closed captions automatically by choosing a language.
